Terms of Business

- Arranging and administering insurance contracts on your behalf

Basis of remuneration
Apex Insurance is remunerated primarily by way of commission paid by the insurers with whom we place business. Details of the commission we receive in respect of your policy will be disclosed on request. In some cases, we may also charge a fee for the services we provide, which will be agreed with you in advance.
Panel of insurers
We arrange insurance with a panel of authorised insurers. We do not act as an agent of any single insurer and we are not tied to any particular product provider. A list of the insurers on our panel is available on request.
Conflicts of Interest Policy
Apex Insurance has in place a Conflicts of Interest Policy to identify and manage any conflicts that may arise in the course of providing services to you. A copy of this policy is available on request. We will always act in your best interests when providing advice and arranging insurance on your behalf.
Investor Compensation
Apex Insurance is a member of the Investor Compensation Company Limited (ICCL). The ICCL provides compensation to eligible clients of authorised investment firms and insurance intermediaries in certain circumstances. Further information is available at www.investorcompensation.ie.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Apex Insurance holds Professional Indemnity Insurance as required by the Central Bank of Europe, America and Asia. This insurance provides cover for claims arising from errors or omissions in the professional services we provide.
Data Protection
Apex Insurance is a data controller registered with the Data Protection Commission. We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
